About Vettaiyan
October of this year is when Rajinikanth’s 170th movie, Vettaiyan, is set to be released worldwide. On Rajinikanth’s 73rd birthday, the production firm previously released the movie’s title teaser. The film’s producers had previously declared in May that Rajinikanth had completed filming his scenes.
The highly anticipated picture, which is helmed by TJ Gnanavel, gained notoriety for directing the Suriya-starring Jai Bhim (2021) and stars an ensemble cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan. For the movie, Anirudh Ravichander composed the soundtrack.
Superstar Rajinikanth is reconnecting with Amitabh Bachchan for a film after more than three decades, making Vettaiyan an important film in his career. Their partnership began with the release of Geraftaar (1985) and Andhaa Kaanoon (1983). Hum, their final motion picture, was released in 1991.
