The official soundtrack for Marvel Studios’ Deadpool and Wolverine film, “Slash,” will be released by K-pop group Stray Kids. A day prior to the release of their return album, Stray Kids revealed the release date of their tune, Deadpool 3.

Ryan Reynolds, star of Deadpool, is friends with Bang Chan and Felix from Stray Kids for a number of years. Fans therefore conjecture that the song has been written for some time. Deadpool and Stray Kids’ crossover, though, goes beyond the song’s release for the next Marvel movie.

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds made an appearance in the music video for Stray Kids’ new title tune, “Chk Chk Boom,” prior to the release of the Deadpool & Wolverine soundtrack. For fans throughout the globe, this was a heart-stopping moment since it’s not often that two Hollywood A-listers appear together in a K-pop song video.

Deadpool 3 Stray Kids song “Slash” release date announced

The new Deadpool & Wolverine song from Stray Kids, “Slash,” will be available everywhere on July 24. The song is included on the 18-song soundtrack, which also included Hugh Jackman’s performance of “The Greatest Show” from The Greatest Showman.

The vinyl CD, which will be available starting on July 26, will also include Stray Kids’ “Slash,” following its digital release. In a press release, Marvel also explained, “The Deadpool & Wolverine Original Score digital album, with music by composer Rob Simonsen, will also be available in ATMOS on July 24, along with the digital deluxe edition soundtrack, which includes both songs and score.”

While they get ready for the release of their first Marvel collaboration, fans of Stray Kids celebrate the K-pop group’s significant milestone. After the latter adopted a Deadpool theme in one of their Mnet concerts, Kingdom Stage, Ryan Reynolds, star of Deadpool, and Stray Kids became friends.

Felix makes an early appearance on stage as Deadpool in the widely shared 2021 Kingdom concert. Ryan tweeted “hello” beneath their video, expressing his admiration for the performance. Felix and Bang Chan, two members of Stray Kids, have since

Because of their connection, Ryan also declared Bang Chan and Felix to be his favourite Australians—a distinction he had previously held for years with Hugh Jackman, his best friend. In the end, K-pop enthusiasts saw the culmination of their friendship as one of the most important crossovers in popular culture.
