The brutal vengeance horror film Hayride to Hell, starring genre icons Bill Moseley (The Blob, Army of Darkness) and Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th series), has a digital release date set.

The movie originally enjoyed a limited theatrical release back in October 2023.

Set on the Coxe Family Farm in rural Willis County, the film follows Farmer Sam (Moseley) as he exacts his brutal retribution on dishonest locals, notably Sheriff Jubel (Hodder), who threatens him and tries to take the 200-year-old farm.

And just how does he accomplish that? He makes a promise to construct a terrifying attraction on his land. He also gets to keep the land if he can frighten those who are pursuing it. However, it’s evident from the film’s trailer that Sam has more of an ultimate plan for the locals.

When is Hayride to Hell coming to digital?

On September 24, 2024, Hayride to Hell will be available on digital platforms. The rights to distribute the picture in North America were purchased by independent film distribution and media company Breaking Glass Pictures.

Kristina Chadwick and Robert Lange authored the screenplay for the movie, which was directed by Dan Lantz (Alice and the Vampire Queen, Bloodrunners). On the Pennsylvania property of Chadwick and Lange, the film was shot.

Graham Wolfe, Allyson Malandra, Denise Parella McDonald, Jared Michael Delaney, Shelby Hightower, Melanie Martyn, Brooke Stacy Mills, Aaron Dalla Villa, and Cedric “Budge” Casimiro are among the cast members in addition to Hodder and Moseley.

The roles of Victor Crowley in the Hatchet films and Jason Voorhees in later Friday the 13th films have made Kane Hodder most famous. A long history of terror surrounds Bill Moseley. He has made appearances in Rob Zombie films Halloween, The Devil’s Rejects, and 3 From Hell. In addition, he starred in films such Repo! The Genetic Opera, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Tom Savini’s Night of the Living Dead, and Nicolas Cage’s Prisoners of the Ghostland.
