Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas and Deepika: OTT Release Date and Streaming Platforms

Kalki 2898 AD OTT release: At last, Prime Video will offer the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions of the Prabhas and Deepika Padukone film for streaming. On August 22, the Hindi version of the movie will be available on Netflix.

Kalki 2898 to Stream on two OTT Platforms

Netflix India posted a teaser for the Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone movie on Instagram at approximately the same time. The post explained, “Iss yug ka EPIC blockbuster aa raha hai Netflix par, Hindi mein (Blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD is arriving in Hindi on Netflix). Watch Kalki 2898 AD Hindi arriving on 22nd August on Netflix.”

The science fiction extravaganza is the most recent Indian movie to reach the ₹1000 crore mark at the global box office. On June 27, 2024, the multilingual film debuted in theatres and did well at the box office, earning ₹1041.6 crore globally.

Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, Kalki 2898 AD is directed by Nag Ashwin, who has previously directed films like Yevade Subramanyam and Mahanati.

The movie, which was once known as Project K, has been compared to a science fiction movie and the Hindu epic Mahabharata. It was released globally in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English, and it also features important roles for Saswata Chatterjee, Shobhana, and Disha Patani.

The film’s eternal warrior Ashwathhama, played by 81-year-old Amitabh Bachchan, already voiced his admiration for the project in a lengthy post on his personal blog. Described as a “massive spectacle,” the actor explained that the movie is a “merger of myth and reality” and that it teaches viewers how the directors put together a mammoth project.
