“Marivillin Gopurangal”: An OTT Platform Romantic Comedy Coming Soon

Marivillin Gopurangal, a Malayalam movie, is scheduled to release on digital platforms shortly. Disney+ Hotstar will offer the romantic comedy drama for streaming, as per the most recent reports. The creators, meanwhile, have not formally confirmed this. This film, directed by Arun Bose, features Indrajith Sukumaran, Vincy Sony Aloshious, Sarjano Khalid, and Shruti Ramachandran in the key characters.

Marivillin Gopurangal to stream on Disney+ Hotstar?

The film’s negative reception from viewers after its May 10 theatrical debut may have contributed to the postponement of its OTT release. Disney+ Hotstar reportedly purchased the online streaming rights to this romantic comedy, though. It’s also reasonable to presume that the film will be available starting in the middle or end of September.

The most recent Malayalam project to be made available on Disney+ Hotstar is Nagendran’s Honeymoons. Suraj Venjaramoodu is the lead actor in this web series, which is directed by Nithin Renji Panicker of Kasaba fame. The characters Grace Antony, Kani Kusruthi, Shwetha Menon, Alphy Panjikaran, and Niranjana Anoop play important roles in Nagendran’s Honeymoon.

The movie’s trailer alluded to its investigation of the evolving dynamics of modern relationships. Shinu and Sherin (Indrajith Sukumaran and Shruti Ramachandran, respectively) are married couples, while Sarjano Khalid and Vincy Sony Aloshious portray Rony and Meenakshi, who are in love and about to become parents. When the latter stays with Shinu and Sherin, their lives take an unexpected turn, and they begin to view marriage and love differently.

Johny Antony, Bindu Panicker, Sai Kumar, and Salim Kumar are among the supporting cast members of the film. Pramod Mohan and the director wrote the screenplay for the film. Vidyasagar wrote the music for this film.
