Spellbound: Plot, Key Characters, Streaming Details, and OTT Release Date

Before Netflix obtained the streaming rights to the animated adventure movie Spellbound, Apple TV+ was the original owner. The voices of the actors, including Javier Bardem as King Solon, Nicole Kidman as Queen Ellsmere, and Rachel Zegler as Ellian, are featured in the next movie. Digital distribution is scheduled for November 2024.

Plot

Ellian, a young princess from the country of Lumbria, is the protagonist of Spellbound. She lives in a magical realm. Her life is going smoothly until one day her parents are transformed into enormous monsters by a strong demonic magic. The movie follows the adolescent princess as she sets out on a quest to break the curse and protect her parents from the evils that lurk in the world.
