Amaran Story Plot Overview
Indhu Rebecca Varghese and her family travel to New Delhi to accept the Ashoka Chakra, which was given to her husband, army officer Mukund Varadarajan, posthumously. She thinks back on their romance, from how they first met in college to how they overcame family opposition to get married and have a daughter. As he leads his forces in a crucial operation in Kashmir and finally gives his life for the country, Mukund’s bravery is evident. Indhu, who is heartbroken but strong, keeps her word to remember him. She finds comfort in Mukund’s enduring presence in her and their daughter’s lives, signifying their unshakeable relationship, after receiving the Ashoka Chakra from President Pranab Mukherjee.
