Christopher Reeve Documentary’s Super/Man Max Streaming Release Date Is Set

When Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story is released on Max on December 7, 2024, it will also be accessible to HBO users. The movie recently won six Critics Choice Documentary Awards and had its world premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.

Following Superman star Christopher Reeve’s tragic horseback riding accident that left him paralysed, the documentary explores the aftermath. Twenty years have passed since his death at the age of fifty-two, and this documentary follows.

The film was directed by Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui, who co-wrote the screenplay with Otto Burnham. It features interviews of Reeve’s children Alexandra Reeves Givens, Matthew Reeve, and Will Reeve. Bonhôte, Lizzie Gillett, and Robert Ford were set as producers.
