Kalinga Tamil OTT Premiere: The Date of Streaming Is Set

Kalinga, an Indian Telugu film, will soon be available on OTT in Tamil. On December 13, Platform Aha will release the film. On September 13 of this year, the first Telugu version was made available in cinemas. By telling its gripping story in a new language, the Tamil version of the movie seeks to appeal to a wider audience.

Plot

A rural Telangana village is depicted in Kalinga, which focusses on themes of love, adversity, and redemption. The film’s plot revolves around Dhruva Vaayu’s character, Linga, an orphan. Linga is depicted fighting his personal issues, such as his alcoholism. The plot of the movie advances when Linga develops feelings for Paddu, who is portrayed by Pragya Nayan. Then, Bali, the village chief’s rowdy brother, poses a serious threat to the couple’s romance.

Cast and crew

The movie also stars Shiju AR, Laxman Meesala, and Aadukalam Naren in addition to Dhruva and Pragya. The film was directed by none other than Dhruva Vaayu. Pruthvi Yadav and Deepthi Kondaveeti are the producers. Anantha Narayanan and Vishnu Sekhara composed the film’s music.

The film’s creators have released a trailer that highlights the film’s main ideas and compelling conflicts through an emotionally charged and dramatic plot.

Despite receiving mixed reviews during its theatrical run, Kalinga received an 8.5/10 IMDb rating.
