Plot

The film’s premise centres on Thelma, a 93-year-old single woman in Los Angeles. Her grandson Daniel, who is aimless and frequently comes to take care of her needs despite not taking responsibility for his own life, is the only person she is connected to. When Daniel calls Thelma and tells her that he has been arrested by local investigators and requests $10,000, the situation drastically changes.

Thelma makes the decision to organise the funds and transmits them effectively. Later on, she learns that she has been duped and that Daniel is safe. When Thelma realises this, she sets out to get her money back.
