Tata Motors Launch Limited-Edition Harrier Stealth & Safari Model

Tata Motors has introduced the limited-edition Stealth Edition for the Safari and Harrier SUVs in honour of the 27th anniversary of the Tata Safari. This special model starts at ₹25.09 lakh (ex-showroom), and there are only 2,700 units available. Reservations for the Harrier Stealth Edition are already being accepted online and at dealerships around India.

Powertrain and Engine

There are no notable mechanical differences between the Harrier Stealth Edition and the Safari. The current powertrain, a 2.0-liter diesel engine with a maximum power and torque output of 165.70 HP and 350 Nm, respectively, is used.

Interior Features

The features of the Tata Harrier Stealth Edition and the Tata Safari are identical to those of the regular models. But to match the external paint job, the inside now has all-black leatherette upholstery.

A voice-activated dual-zone automatic climate control system, a 31.24 cm (12.29-inch) Harman Touchscreen Infotainment System, an Arcade App Store for entertainment, an Alexa Home 2 Car for remote connectivity, integrated Map my India for navigation, a 26.03 cm (10.23-inch) Digital Instrument Cluster, a JBL 10-speaker audio system with Harman AudioworX, a sliding armrest, and a sprinkler nozzle are all features found inside the car.

Cost

The starting price of the Tata Safari Stealth Edition is Rs 25.74 lakh (ex-showroom). The price of the Tata Harrier Stealth Edition is Rs 25.09 lakh.

Technology and Design

The updated design components and Stealth Matte Black finish set the Stealth Editions apart.

The exterior has a unique Stealth mascot, 19-inch black alloy wheels, and a matte black colour scheme. The vehicle’s bold appearance is enhanced by blacked-out front grille and dark-themed badging.

Inside, the cars have black leatherette dashboard and door trimmings with contrast stitching, as well as first- and second-row seats with carbon-noir-themed ventilation (second-row ventilation is only available in Safari).

Safety and Performance

The 2.0L BS6 Phase 2 turbocharged engine that powers the Stealth Editions produces 170 horsepower. For seamless operation, it is mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox.

A comfortable ride on a variety of terrains is guaranteed by the sophisticated suspension system.

Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Level 2+ ADAS are among the 21 safety features.

In addition, the cars have a tyre pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera, and seven airbags.
