Demon Slayer Movie 2025: Global Release Date & Where to Watch

Infinity Castle, the anime’s grand ending, is found in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The final fight between Tanjiro and the Hashira takes place in the foreboding Infinity Castle as Muzan Kibutsuji strikes.

Release Date 

The first film of the trilogy, Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, is an anime adaptation of the manga series’ last arc.

August 2025 will see the start of the film’s global distribution, with screenings in the US and Canada starting on September 12, 2025.

The film will be released in IMAX theatres and other high-end big formats, as well as in Japanese with English dubbing and subtitles.

Toshihiko Seki (Muzan Kibutsuji), Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Inosuke), Hiro Shimono (Zenitsu), Akari Kito (Nezuko), and Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro). Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2’s official release date was announced during the stream as August 1. The game builds on the plot events of the original game and adds new characters and improved gameplay.

Box Office Performance

A one-day release was originally planned, but “overwhelming demand” resulted in a longer screening time. The movie has made about $2.9 million in North America so far.

Demon Slayer: Storyline

After his younger sister Nezuko was transformed into a demon, a boy named Tanjiro Kamado joined the Demon Slayer Corps, an organisation devoted to hunting out demons. Tanjiro has fought many demons alongside his colleagues, Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira, while strengthening his friendships and relationships with other corps members. In the process, he has fought alongside the Hashira, the highest ranking swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps, such as Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku on the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui in the Entertainment District, and Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji at the Swordsmith Village.

“As the Demon Slayer Corps members and Hashira engaged in a group strength training program, the Hashira Training, in preparation for the forthcoming battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters but are plunged into a deep descent to a mysterious space by the hands of Muzan Kibutsuji. The destination of where Tanjiro and Demon Slayer Corps have fallen is the demons’ stronghold – the Infinity Castle. And so, the battleground is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignites.”
