About Don’t Tell Larry
It started as a web series and went on to win both audience choice and best comedy awards at the Pasadena Film Festival. During the epidemic, Porper and Schimke, who directed the film from their own script, produced it and partially financed it by liquidating personal assets. In addition to an AI chatbot portraying the title character and a phony corporate website, the film’s team is using meme-focused marketing to get the word out.
