‘American Horror Story’ Season 10: ‘Twofold Feature’ scene split affirmed

The forthcoming 10-scene tenth period of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story is named Double Feature, mirroring the portion’s strange design — it contains two separate stories. Part I: Red Tide is set by the ocean, while Part 2: Death Valley is set by the sand.

In a meeting with Deadline as a component of FX’s TCA virtual summer press visit, the organization’s director John Landgraf affirmed how the season, which debuts August 25, will be parted between the two provisions, with the first traversing the initial six scenes and the second the leftover four.

“We are excited about (the two features) coming up,” said Eric Schrier, leader of FX Entertainment.

Added Landgraf: “They are both excellent. I’ve seen the cuts for the first one. I’ve only read the scripts for the second one but I think they are both really good.”

The 10 scenes will air successively, prompting the October 27 season finale just before Halloween. Without precedent for AHS’ history, Double Feature will be accessible for in-season streaming, with new scenes set up on FX on Hulu the day after they debut on the direct organization.

AHS was reestablished for three additional seasons in January 2020. Murphy still can’t seem to pitch FX on Season 11. “Ryan never tells us, it just comes fully formed in his head,” Landgraf said.

FX today delivered the principal trailer for American Horror Story: Double Feature Part I: Red Tide, which happens in the shoreline local area of Provincetown, MA. The cast incorporates Finn Wittrock, Lily Rabe, Evan Peters, Frances Conroy, Angelica Ross, Leslie Grossman and Macaulay Culkin.
