The streaming service Aha Tamil just revealed on social media that it will begin streaming the 2024 Tamil film Anjaamai, which stars Vidharth, Rahman, and Vani Bhojan in the key roles, on October 29. Additionally, the movie will be accessible through the OTTplay Premium app.

Earlier this year, Anjaamai hit cinemas. Vani Bhojan, Rahman, and Vidharth played the main parts in the movie. Aha Tamil has now acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights to the movie, and it will be made available on the platform during the week of Diwali on October 29. The Anjaamai will soon be accessible on the Google Play Store, App Store, and OTTplay Premium app.
Anjaamai is based on actual events that happened in 2017. It centres on a family of four from a Tamil Nadu rural town who are struggling. Given that their son Arundhavam excels academically and wants to become a doctor, father Sarkar would stop at nothing to fulfil his ambition. He even went so far as to quit his career as a theatre performer and become a flower farmer in order to delay his son’s schooling. However, Arundhavam and Sarkar struggle when NEET exams present challenges, even if they received high honours in school exams.
