The official Armand trailer, which stars Cannes Award winner Renate Reinsve (The Worst Person in the World), has been released by IFC Films for the film’s impending U.S. premiere. At the 77th Cannes Film Festival, the movie made its global premiere and took home the Caméra d’Or for Best First Feature Film. The film has also been chosen by Norway as its official submission for the 2025 Academy Awards’ Best International Festure Film category.

When is the Armand U.S. Release Date?

Beginning on February 7, Armand will be shown in a few U.S. theatres before going on general release on February 14. In addition to Reinsve, the cast consists of Vera Veljovic, Øystein Røger, Ellen Dorrit Petersen, Thea Lambrechts Vaulen, and Endre Hellestveit.

“When defamed actress Elisabeth (Reinsve) is abruptly called into a parent-teacher meeting after hours, she is presented with scathing allegations that trigger a tangled web of accusations between parents and faculty,” reads the official synopsis. “As Elisabeth struggles to uncover the truth amid the empty school rooms and dark corridors, a chaotic fight for redemption arises where desire, madness and obsession prevail.”
