Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, Starring Ajay Devgn, will Now Have A New Release Date

The new release date for Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s romance drama Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has been announced, following an abrupt postponement. The film, which was first slated to open in theatres on July 5, will instead open on August 2.

Ajay announced the latest development on his social media on Saturday, July 6. “The wait ends on August 2nd! (heart emoji),” he added.

Friday Filmworks, a production company, sent a statement on social media earlier this week that said, “Dear Friends, we have decided to move the release date of our film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, at the request of the exhibitors and the distribution fraternity.” We’ll soon announce the new release date.”

This is the first film that Devgn and filmmaker Neeraj Pandey have worked together on.

The story of mismatched lovers Krishna (Devgn) and Basu (Tabu) will be told in Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. After Krishna is found guilty of murder and is sentenced to 22 years in prison, their lives are completely turned upside down. The narrative of their love doesn’t end here, though.

Golu marries while Krishna is incarcerated, but she can’t let go of her first love and requires Krishna to give her the necessary closure. The film, which spans 23 years, stars Shantanu Maheshwari as Tabu’s younger self and Saiee Manjrekar as Ajay’s younger self.

In this quirky tale of love, Jimmy Shergill portrays Tabu’s spouse.

The chemistry between Tabu and Ajay in the teaser appears good. The two actors have acted in several other films in addition to this one, including Drishyam, Golmaal Again, and De De Pyaar De.

The film’s director, M. M. Kreem, composed the soundtrack.
