As per Sacnilk, on its twelfth day of release, the Bollywood action movie “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, brought in 1 crore.
Monday, April 22, 2024 saw an overall Hindi occupancy of 8.51% at Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
In addition to Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar, the cast of the film also includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya Furniturewala, Sonakshi Sinha, and Ronit Roy.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (BMCM) did well domestically on the day of its release, grossing ₹15.65 crore; however, the next day saw a steep 51.44% came less, earning ₹7.6 crore.
On its opening Saturday, the movie saw a modest increase in earnings, taking in ₹8.5 crore. On Sunday, the film’s earnings climbed even further, totaling ₹9.05 crore.
As per media reports, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” has underperformed at the box office, despite having a budget of ₹350 crore.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, known for hit films like “Sultan” and “Tiger Zinda Hai,” the movie’s disappointing box office performance suggests it may not meet expectations. This continues a recent trend for lead actor Akshay Kumar, who has struggled to deliver box-office hits.
Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, Zafar, and Deepshikha Deshmukh produced the movie, which was released in a number of languages with dubbed Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada versions.
Produced by Pooja Entertainment in collaboration with AAZ, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” also stars Ronit Roy, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya Furniturewala, and Sonakshi Sinha, among other well-known actors. Filming was done in a number of places, including London, Abu Dhabi, Mumbai, Scotland, and Jordan.
