Black Panther 3 has been the subject of a lot of discussion lately. While a recent report explained that Marvel is thinking about recasting the part of T’Challa, which was irrevocably played by the late Chadwick Boseman, Denzel Washington revealed that writer-director Ryan Coogler is already draughting him a role for the third installment in the superhero series.
Right now, Coogler is finishing up Sinners, a vampire horror movie that takes place during the Prohibition era and stars Michael B. Jordan, a long-time colleague.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe and Mouse and Marvel’s best-laid plans were greatly impacted by Boseman’s passing. T’Challa was one of the most well-liked characters added to the MCU in the past ten years, despite the emotional toll it took on his friends, fans, and coworkers. However, filmmaker Ryan Coogler put a stop to T’Challah’s existence in the universe by beginning Wakanda Forever with the character’s funeral.
The news that Nate Moore would be leaving Marvel Studios to pursue other opportunities confirmed the release of Black Panther 3. Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito lauded Moore’s work for the studio in a statement, but they also disclosed that although Moore is moving on, they will still be collaborating with him on the upcoming Black Panther movie.
“When we saw that story, I know Ryan was like, ‘Well, what is he saying?'” Moore tells EW about Washington’s self-proclaimed role in Black Panther 3. Denzel’s inclusion in the MCU should be a huge blessing. But again, nothing is certain until we discover what that film is. However, if you ask me, I would absolutely love to see Denzel in Black Panther 3. He is undoubtedly a legend.
