What’s the plot of Black Water: Abyss
Five buddies are introduced in the story, eager to embark on their daring journey and discover the secret cavern system tucked away in a remote area of an Australian forest. Before long, their torch rays pierce the darkness as they venture into the cool, dark depths. They were confined to the cave system when an intense tropical storm suddenly raged outside. Surprisingly, they are not by themselves. A fearsome, ravenous beast, hiding in the shadows, observing them from the dark, waiting for the storm to pass and its gullible victim to be exposed.
Director Andrew Traucki’s experience filming around water
Before the film’s 2020 release, director Andrew Traucki talked about his experiences with Black Water: Abyss. He declared in an interview with The Phuket News portal that he adores beaches and bodies of water. He even enjoys surfing. He says it adds a wonderful texture and touch to a movie. He acknowledges, though, that shooting in water is really challenging. Even for the entire team, it’s chaotic.
