“Ae Watan Mere Watan”
Ae Watan Mere Watan is a biographical drama directed by Kannan Iyer that is based on the life of Usha Mehta. In the 1942 Quit India movement, she led an exciting pursuit with the British authorities while fighting for India’s freedom by promoting unity through her underground radio station. Dharma Productions and Somen Mishra are the film’s backers, and Kannan and Darab Farooqui wrote the script.

Fighter
On January 25, 2024, the film Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand, opened in theaters. The film is slated for digital release, almost three months after its theatrical run. It is anticipated to launch on Netflix shortly. The film centers on Indian Air Force (IAF) officers who form Air Dragons after banding together in the face of impending danger. The film examines themes of friendship, brotherhood, and patriotism as well as internal and external conflicts.

Lootere
An upcoming web series called Lootere was created by Shaailesh R Singh and Hansal Mehta. This television show’s plot centers on pirates abducting passengers from a ship off the coast of Somalia and holding them as hostages. But one hero comes forward to save them all. Jai Mehta has been the showrunner for the series.

Swatantrya Veer Savarkar
The film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, directed by Randeep Hooda, follows the life story of Indian reformer and freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. This week is the film’s scheduled theatrical release. Along with Utkarsh Naithani, Randeep co-wrote the movie’s narrative. Anand Pandit Motion Pictures, Randeep Hooda Films, Legend Studios, and Avak Films are supporting the movie.

Madgaon Express
This week, the comedy Madgaon Express, written and directed by Kunal Kemmu, will be released on theaters. Three friends’ childhood dream of visiting Goa is told in the film.
