Bollywood’s 2024 Box Office Hits: Six Films, Including ‘Fighter’ and ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,’ Surpass 100 Crores Globally

Bollywood had a spectacular year in 2023, with blockbuster hits at the international box office from movies like Pathaan, Gadar 2, Jawan, Animal, and many more. As of now, six films have achieved a hundred points, with Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter continuing to hold the top spot. There haven’t been any such blockbusters this year.

With a total income of 351.75 crores, Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter is the highest-grossing movie to date and will be Bollywood’s first 100 crore club entry at the global box office in 2024. It made 250.75 crores gross in India and 101 crores gross in other countries. Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya scored a century following this major victory.

The Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor film performed remarkably well both abroad and in India. It made 102.66 crores gross in the home market and 41 crores gross abroad, for a total of 143.66 crores gross globally. Another unexpected addition to the group was Yami Gautam’s Article 370. Its gross global earnings are 108.60 crores, of which 95.60 crores are derived from India.

The global box office performance of Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan’s Shaitaan was outstanding. While it made 38 crores gross worldwide, the movie brought in 177 crores gross in India. 215 crores gross is the total collected thus far globally. The 100 crore mark was also reached worldwide by Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon’s Crew.

Crew maintained its pace following an outstanding start, and the most recent data indicates that it made 145.56 crores at the global box office. Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is the most recent addition to the list. With 76.93 crores of the total gross coming from India, the global total is 110 crores.
