Bollywood’s Biggest Stars will Appear in Eight OTT movies, Including Chhorii 2, Subedar, and Be Happy

A comprehensive lineup of original content that will be available on screens for the next two years has been revealed by Prime Video. There are forty different original series and films on the roster, in addition to 29 Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu films that will be available for streaming after their theatrical release.

Amazon Video has announced eight original movies

The eight Amazon original movies that the streamer revealed are: the action drama Subedar directed by Anil Kapoor; the Hindi-language superstition-themed Chhorii 2; the Indian independence-themed Ae Watan Mere Watan, starring Sara Ali Khan; the Be Happy film starring Abhishek Bachchan; and the small-town comedy Supermen of Malegaon, from Ritesh Sidhwani, Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Farhan Akhtar and starring Adarsh Gaurav. In addition, Cheekati Lo, a Telugu satire and investigative called Uppu Kappu Rambu Cheekati Lo, will stream on the platform.

Which Hindi films will soon be available for streaming on Prime Video?

Ikkis, a biopic based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal PVC, who is regarded as the most decorated hero of the 1971 War, is one of the much awaited releases. The film, directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Maddock Films Pvt. Ltd., stars Agastya Nanda, Dharmendra, and Jaideep Ahlawat.

With the announcement of Stree 2, the follow-up to the 2018 smash hit Stree, fans of the horror-comedy genre can celebrate. With Amar Kaushik directing, the movie stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khuranna and takes place in the sleepy town of Chanderi, where new terror lurks.

Renowned director Shoojit Sircar will also present a story that examines a father-daughter relationship and promises to be an emotional rollercoaster. The main cast members are Jayant Kriplani, Johnny Lever, and Ahilya Bamroo, in addition to Abhishek Bachchan.

Housefull 5 and Baaghi 4 are also included

Action fans can expect the heart-pounding Baaghi 4 to deliver the thrills and intensity that have come to define the franchise. This film, which stars the dynamic Tiger Shroff, will also make its Prime Video debut.

Concurrently, the well-liked Housefull series is set to make a comeback with its fifth installment, appropriately named Housefull 5. The movie, which is well-known for its ensemble cast and comedic genius, promises five times as much chaos, madness, and laughter. In this extravagant comedy, Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh take the lead roles.

Last but not least, Chandu Champion is preparing to tell the incredible story of a common man who overcame all obstacles to win India’s first individual gold medal at the Olympics. In this one, Kartik Aaryan plays the title character. Among the other films on this schedule.
