Box Office Report: Tollywood’s Most Anticipated High-Cost Films for 2024

A number of interesting films, such as Prabhas’s “Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire,” Thalapathy Vijay’s “Leo,” and Rajinikanth’s “Jailer,” were released in 2023 in Southern theaters, providing an engaging cinematic experience. Anticipated South Indian films are about to make their theater debut in 2024.

Rishab Shetty’s Kannada prequel “Kantara: Chapter 1” delves into the beginnings of the mythological deity Panjurli Deiva. It is planned for release in late 2024 and is set during the Kadamba dynasty.

Last but not least, the massive mythological-science fiction dystopian film “Kalki 2898 AD” stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in an ensemble cast. Directed and written by Nag Ashwin, Kalki is the most expensive Indian film ever made. Prabhas plays the title character, while Kamal Haasan plays the main antagonist. The film explores the legend of Hindu mythology.
