Bruce Springsteen’s recently revealed “Tracks II: The Lost Albums” compilation will include more than 80 new tracks this summer.

Bruce Springsteen’s 7-Album Vault Set Drops June 27

The seven full-length CDs, which are scheduled for release on June 27, will feature previously unheard music by The Boss. The songs were written between 1983 and 2018 and cover Springsteen’s decades-long career.

“’The Lost Albums’ were full records, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released,” Springsteen explained in a statement on Thursday. “I’ve played this music to myself and often close friends for years now. I’m glad you’ll get a chance to finally hear them. I hope you enjoy them.”

On Thursday, Springsteen gave the first taste of the “Lost Albums” by releasing his first single “Rain In The River,” which comes from one of the new lost albums titled “Perfect World.”

From the iconic musician’s characteristic drum loop and synth sound to country-inspired songs and orchestra-driven instrumentation, the record collection will offer a range of sounds, according to the statement.

“The ability to record at home whenever I wanted allowed me to go into a wide variety of different musical directions,” Springsteen explained.

The European leg of Springsteen’s tour with the E Street Band is scheduled to begin in Manchester in May and conclude in Milan in July.
