The Cardinals’ new general manager has been hired.
According to NFL Network, Monti Ossenfort, the Titans’ director of player personnel, is set to become the Cardinals’ general manager.
Ossenfort spent 15 years with the Patriots before joining the Titans for his third season. He rose through the ranks of the scouting department in New England, rising from a personnel assistant to director of college scouting. Additionally, he began his career as an intern with the Vikings and worked as a college scout for the Texans.
Ossenfort will begin by working with Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill to identify the team’s next head coach after Steve Keim’s departure left the position vacant.
Arizona is coming off a difficult season, Kyler Murray is recovering from an ACL tear, and 2023 appears to be a rebuilding year. The Cardinals are aware of the building’s new owner at this point.
