The story of Love Next Door centres on Choi Seung-Hyo, a talented architect who has a significant influence on everyone around him. He was about to pop the question to his boyhood friend Bae Seok-Ryu, but things take an unexpected turn when Hyun-jun, Seok-Ryu’s ex-fiance, does it instead. When Seung-Hyo learns that Seok-Ryu is battling stomach cancer, the situation gets even more complicated. In the upcoming episodes, this revelation should provide more insight into how the characters’ relationships are changing.

Jung Hae-in plays Choi Seung-Hyo in the series, while Jung So-min plays Bae Seok-Ryu. Both actors have a strong cast. Yoon Ji-on portrays Kang Dan-ho, and Kim Ji-eun plays Jeong Mo-eum additional roles.
