The premiere date for Focus Features’ latest mystery thriller film, Conclave Peacock, which stars Oscar candidate Ralph Fiennes, has been revealed. This occurs almost a month after the movie’s theatrical debut in the United States.

“The film follows one of the world’s most secretive and ancient events – selecting the new pope. Cardinal Lawrence is tasked with running this covert process after the unexpected death of the beloved Pope,” reads the synopsis. “Once the Catholic Church’s most powerful leaders have gathered from around the world and are locked together in the Vatican halls, Lawrence uncovers a trail of deep secrets left in the dead Pope’s wake, secrets which could shake the foundations of the Church.”

When is the Conclave Peacock Release Date?

Beginning on December 13, Conclave will be streamed exclusively on Peacock. Critics have given the movie favourable reviews ever since it debuted at the 51st Telluride Film Festival. Based on 258 reviews, it now holds a 93% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Edward Berger of All Quiet on the Western Front directed Conclave, which was adapted from Robert Harris’ best-selling novel by Peter Straughan. The following individuals will be joining Fiennes: Isabella Rossellini, John Lithgow, Carlos Diehz, Lucian Msamati, Brían F. O’Byrne, Merab Ninidze, Sergio Castellitto, and Stanley Tucci. Steven Rales, Glen Basner, Michael Popelka, Ben Browning, Len Blavatnik, Danny Cohen, Zoe Edwards, Harry Dixon, Paul Randle, Tomas Alfredson, Edward Berger, Ralph Fiennes, Peter Straughan, Robyn Slovo, Mario Gianani, and Lorenzo Gangarossa served as executive producers.
