Da Twin Prince, whose real name is Claudio Kelly, is a well-known musician who enjoys producing catchy songs with clever wordplay. His latest single ‘Body On’ will be released on June 17th, and the cover art and pre-order links are already out now.
Da Twin Prince, who was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, began his musical adventures in church, where he grew up singing and drumming every day. Da Twin Prince’s writing style is heavily influenced by real-life experiences and relationships. With his unique kind of music, he ingeniously delivers a fresh new perspective, reaching out to a diverse range of listeners from all walks of life.
Talking more about the album artwork, it is in line to be the 7th studio single released by the artist. He identifies himself as a creative writer, music artist and melodic rapper. Sharing more on the journey of creating the artwork, Da Twin Prince shares that the work on the cover art started approximately two weeks after the song was complete. The idea for the cover art struck him because the song felt like erotica to him. An interesting fun fact about the cover art is that the cover was supposed to be a reference photo before doing an actual shoot, but the actual shoot never happened.
Recollecting some of the highlights of his career, he said, performing in major music festivals like South By South West and Brooklyn’ Atlantic Antic definitely hit the top of the charts. He has also gained numerous sponsorships, the most recent being the Rums of Puerto Rico. This single release will be followed by a 6 track EP expected to be released sometime in August.
