David Jonsson, 31, is a British actor who won the BAFTA Film Awards’ EE Rising Star prize. Reputable for his parts in the TV show Industry, the romantic comedy Rye Lane from 2023, and Alien: Romulus, Jonsson explained modestly, “I’m just an east London boy,” highlighting that fame isn’t what drives him.

Upon winning, Jonsson explained, “I’ve got to be honest, this isn’t why I do it. Do you know what I mean? I’m just an east London boy.”

Jonsson’s work and Upcoming Projects
They is now working on a number of other film projects, such as the drama Wasteman and the dystopian horror thriller The Long Walk. He is also set to play Sammy Davis Jr. in the upcoming real story drama Scandalous, which will mark actor Colman Domingo’s directorial debut.
