Deadpool & Wolverine Surpass Captain Marvel as the 8th Highest Grossing MCU Film in the United States

Almost two weeks after its theatrical release, Deadpool and Wolverine were still shattering records. On Thursday, August 8, 2024, the movie, starring Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, achieved yet another significant milestone, solidifying its standing as one of Marvel’s most grossing productions. The total lifetime revenues of the first three Deadpool films have been surpassed, both locally and worldwide.

Deadpool 1 brought in $363 million at home and $418.8 million abroad, for a total of $781.9 million globally. Deadpool 2 brought in $786.3 worldwide after earning $322.5 in home sales and $461.7 abroad. Even while Deadpool 1 and 2 were huge hits, their box office results paled in comparison to Deadpool and Wolverine’s incredible run.
