Demonte Colony 2 Breaks Tamil Nadu’s First-Day Box Office Record Set by Lal Salaam

The box office debut of Demonte Colony 2 – Vengeance Of The Unholy was impressive. When the movie was released on August 15, India’s Independence Day, it was up against Thangalaan, starring Chiyaan Vikram. The horror movie has made respectable box office receipts in spite of the competition.

Originally, the assistant of Ajay Gnanamuthu was supposed to helm the sequel. To overcome the setback, Gnanamuthu chose to direct Demonte Colony 2 himself after his Vikram-starring film Cobra experienced a major setback.
