The official Caddo Lake trailer for Max’s newest mystery thriller film, directed by M. Night Shyamalan, has been made public.
“When an eight-year-old girl mysteriously vanishes, a series of past deaths and disappearances start to link together, forever altering a broken family’s history,” reads the film’s official synopsis.
When is the Caddo Lake release date?
On Thursday, October 10, Caddo Lake will premiere exclusively on Max. Along with Eric Lange (Escape at Dannemora) and Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under), the picture stars Dylan O’Brien (Maze Runner, Love and Monsters), Eliza Scanlen (Little Women), Diana Hopper (Goliath), Caroline Falk (Caroline), and Sam Hennings (Four Good Days).
Celine Held and Logan George, who shot the movie in and around Karnak, Texas, in late 2021 and early 2022, wrote and directed it. They visited the cypress forest numerous times after finding an actual Caddo Lake shot online, which served as inspiration for the film. Josh Godfrey, Kara Durrett, and Ashwin Rajan are the film’s producers. Will Greenfield, Harrison Huffman, and Kimberly Steward are the executive producers. Blinding Edge Pictures and New Line Cinema are producing it.
