Family Star Leads OTT Charts Despite Criticism

Amazon Prime is currently streaming Family Star, one of the most anticipated movies on over-the-top platforms. Not many people saw the movie in theaters because it was a box office failure. Naturally, there was an enormous internet craze for the movie. On April 26, 2024, Family Star became available for streaming on Amazon Prime.

The film Family Star was produced with an enormous budget of Rs 55 crore, the highest in Vijay’s career.

Ever since the film was released, Vijay has been nowhere to be seen in the media and is silently shooting for his new film in the direction of Gowtam Tinnanuri. Now that Family Star is out on OTT, there is a lot of debate about various aspects of the film. Whatever the reason, the family drama is now trending on top of Amazon charts, and this has given the makers a reason to smile after the pasting they got at the box office.
