Music fans voted in a survey distributed Friday (July 31) on Billboard, picking Beyoncé’s staggering new visual collection on Disney+ as their preferred new music release from the previous week.
Set to the music of Bey’s heavenly The Lion King: The Gift album, released in 2019, Black Is King is an exquisite, outwardly imaginative bit of narrating, investigating the subjects of Black heritage and generational learning through the slim cover of The Lion King’s story.
Dark Is King gotten 76% of the vote this week, prevailing over new music by Billie Eilish, Sam Smith, A$AP Ferg, Dan + Shay and others.
Coming in runner up on the current week’s survey with 14% of the vote was Eilish’s new melody “My Future,” her first bit of new music in quite a while.
The individual new single finds the 18-year-old artist guaranteeing the world that she’s doing fine and dandy, both as an as of late printed easily recognized name acclimating to notoriety and as an advancing musician consistently arranged to attempt new things.
Putting third on the current week’s survey was A$AP Ferg’s “Move Ya Hips,” including Nicki Minaj and MadeInTYO, trailed by Smith’s “My Oasis,” highlighting Burna Boy.
