The official website for the next Hatsune Miku anime film, officially titled COLOURFUL STAGE!, went live on Friday, September 27, 2024. The second trailer for the film, A Miku Who Can’t Sing, has been released. In addition to introducing herself, the teaser presents the other main characters that Miku appears to engage and support through her virtual world.
The smartphone game Project Sekai: Colourful Stage feat. Hatsune Miku, which debuted in Japan on September 30, 2020, served as the inspiration for the next Hatsune Miku anime film. The film’s first announcement and earlier information both state that it would debut in Japanese theatres on Friday, January 17, 2025. The movie will indeed be released everywhere.
New Hatsune Miku anime film features large cast in newest teaser trailer
The most recent teaser for the upcoming Hatsune Miku anime movie initially highlights Miku’s interactions with various performing groups. Before Miku is given a little moment of attention, there are also others who are obviously usually struggling in life. The focus then shifts to Miku and the different real-life characters that appear in the trailer. At the conclusion, one of the girls can be heard calling out for Miku, who appears to be lost in the virtual world and not responding.
The Hatsune Miku anime film is being directed by Hiroyuki Hata at P.A. Works, while the screenplay is being written by Yoko Yonaiyama. Along with Masatoshi Tsuji, who is also the project’s sub-character designer, Yuki Akiyama is responsible for character design and primary animation director.
