G20, an upcoming original movie on Amazon Prime Video, is creating a lot of hype online, and rightfully so. Blending intense drama with star-driven appeal, G20 is positioned to be one of the most anticipated movies of the spring thanks to its stellar cast and compelling, high-stakes plot.

Storyline

Viola Davis is one of the action heroes in G20 who must save the planet from a disaster. Danielle Sutton, a steely veteran, mother of two, and US president, is portrayed by the Oscar-winning actress. The free world’s leader is tensely fighting with her 17-year-old daughter Serena (Marsai Martin) when we first see her. The unhappy teen had sneaked out to party at a Georgetown bar.

Director

Caitlin Parrish, Erica Weiss, Logan Miller, and Noah Miller wrote the script for G20, which Patricia Riggen is directing.

Cast

Powerhouse talent from popular TV shows and Hollywood blockbusters abounds in the G20 cast. Leading the charge as President Danielle Sutton is Viola Davis (How to Get Away with Murder), who also produces the movie. On-screen reunions between Black-ish actors Anthony Anderson and Marsai Martin provide their powerful personalities to the action-packed movie. Alongside Davis, Antony Starr, who played a terrifying villain in The Boys, makes a big comeback to Prime Video.

Sabrina Impacciatore, who played the hotel’s manager in The White Lotus Season 2, is one of the other cast members. The group as a whole depicts a variety of leaders and agents thrust into world turmoil.

Release Date and where to watch

G20 will be exclusively streamed on Amazon Prime Video starting on Thursday, April 10. The film, which has a duration of one hour and forty-eight minutes, promises to be an intensely thrilling experience from beginning to end.
