“Ganbatte Ikimasshoi” Anime Movie: Official Teaser, Release Date, and Other Details

An anime film called “Ganbatte Ikimasshoi” has been teased multiple times in the last few months. Its release was first announced in March of 2024. A sixty-second teaser for the anime was just made public, providing some insight into the story and visual style of the film.

The theme song for the movie, “Sora-iro no Mizushibuki,” or “Sky Blue-Coloured Splash,” is performed by the Japanese idol group Boku ga Mitakatta Aozora and serves as the background music for the trailer.

‘Ganbatte Ikimasshoi’ Plot Details

The story of “Ganbatte Ikimasshoi,” or “Give It All” in rough English, revolves around a young high school girl who feels lost in life after meeting gifted people who surpass her. Eventually, a classmate persuades her to join the school’s rowing club.

The five girls in the rowing club will be the main focus of the film, along with their personal struggles and the lesson that, with perseverance, they can accomplish anything!

‘Ganbatte Ikimasshoi’ Cast and Crew

Yoshiko Shikimura’s novel, published in Japan, served as the basis for the movie. At Studio Moe, Yuhei Sakuragi will serve as the director.

Sora Amamiya, Miku Ito, Rie Takahashi, Aya Uchida, Suzuko Mimori, Ayana Taketatsu, Takuya Eguchi, Akari Kito, and Ikumi Hasegawa are among the voice performers in the cast.

‘Ganbatte Ikimasshoi’s’ Release Date

On October 25, 2024, the film will open in Japanese theatres. Shortly after, it will be open worldwide.
