Set in ancient Rome and directed by the renowned Ridley Scott, Gladiator 2 revives the epic tale of intrigue, power, and retribution that audiences witnessed in the film’s first segment.

The present ruler’s iron hold over Rome leads Lucius (Paul Mescal) to enter the Colosseum ages after the murder of the adored hero Maximus. In order to restore Rome’s grandeur to its citizens, Lucius, who is consumed by hatred, must draw strength and honour from his past while the destiny of the Roman Empire hangs in the balance.
