What are some sacrifices you’ve made to get to where you are?

Everyone who has set up a business will know how demanding it is. For me, the most significant sacrifice has been time spent with my family. While it’s difficult to be away from them so much, the benefit of helping other families gives me peace of mind and a sense of accomplishment that makes it feel worthwhile.

What’s your definition of success?

I measure success through the happiness and achievement of my clientele. It’s enormously rewarding to see them get to places they were only dreaming of before, and be thanked as part of their success.

Do you have any advice for others looking to do what you’ve done?

Starting your own business can look daunting, which makes many people apprehensive about doing so. But the experience you gain in the process is worth so much more than a 9-to-5 job. Even if you fail, you win by gaining more experience to do better the next time around. And when you succeed, that success is all yours. You get true ownership over your work, which is one of the most satisfying aspects. It looks daunting, but don’t let that stop you. The benefits make it well worth it!
