The word glamour is synonymous with Jennifer Lopez. This is the reason one looks is essentially insufficient on a given night. It’s a reality the mega-star demonstrated again at the 77th Golden Globe Awards, when she transformed from her Valentino ball gown, total with a curiously large green-and-gold bow, to something somewhat less Christmas-propelled later that evening.
The 50-year-old actress went to CAA’s Golden Globes after-party in a gauzy dress by one of her stalwart designers, Zuhair Murad. She likewise let down her braided, beehive-looking updo for flowing curls that were integrated with a half-ponytail.
The all-white look featured a long-sleeve lace top, sheer skirt over hot pants, and feathers on the sleeves. It gave off a very Vegas-showgirl vibe, which is a portrayal that befits her, having had a concert residency on the Strip from 2016 to 2018. Or then again, in case we’re adhering to the Christmas theme, she was a walking snowflake—yet an exceptionally hot one.
Her date, Alex Rodriguez, adhered to his black tuxedo, going about as the doting ally to his prospective lady of the hour. He even released a heartfelt message on Instagram when J.Lo lost the best-supporting actress trophy to Laura Dern.
“Jen, it doesn’t take a trophy, medal, or plaque to identify a true champion,” the caption read. “To millions of young women who have watched you and have been inspired and empowered to do amazing things in their lives, you are a champion.”
To be sure, with regards to dressing for the red carpet, Lopez is a sartorial Meryl Streep.
