Day 3 Box Office Collection for Joker 2: Preliminary estimates show that Joaquin Phoenix’s Hollywood film “Joker: Folie a Deux” brought in ₹1.25 crore on Day 3.

October 2 marked the release of Joker 2 in India. In September, the film had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival as well.

Comparing the popular Hollywood sequel’s earnings from Day 1 to Day 2, there has been a significant decline. In India, the film made ₹5.15 crore on the day of its premiere. Day 2’s box office receipts, which came to ₹1.35 crore, represented a 73.79% decrease.

The movie has made ₹7.75 crore in total revenue after earning ₹1.25 crore on Day 3.

Joker 2 Movie Occupancy

The movie’s afternoon showings had the highest occupancy, with theatres reaching 8.66% full.

Chennai has the highest theatre occupancy rate (14%), out of all the cities. Theatres in the city saw up to 10% of capacity in the morning, 20% in the afternoon, and 12% in the morning during the 98 screenings that took place.

Joker 2 Movie Release

Joker 2 opened in Korea on October 1 and made $1.3 million on its first day of sales.

In the meantime, the US saw the release of Joker 2 on October 4.

Warner Bros., Warner Bros. Pictures distributes Todd Phillips’ film “Joker: Folie a Deux”. In addition to Joaquin Phoenix in the title character, Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, and Zazie Beetz are among the cast members of Joker 2.

‘Joker’ had taken home the grand award at the Venice Film Festival in 2019. The Todd Philips sequel debuted at the same festival five years later in 2024, to a standing ovation that lasted for more than twelve minutes, explains Deadline.
