Kishkindha Kaandam OTT Release: Directed by Dinjith Ayyathan, “Kishkindha Kaandam” is a psychological mystery thriller in Malayalam, with Asif Ali playing the lead. This is Dinjith’s second film, following his debut in “Kakshi Amminipilla.” Bahul Ramesh wrote the script, scenario, and dialogue, while Joby George produced the movie under the Goodwill Entertainments label. On September 12, 2024, it debuted in theatres.

As Asif Ali’s first solo lead picture to reach the ₹75 crore box office milestone, Kishkindha Kaandam has created history. Audiences are excitedly awaiting the film’s OTT release for another opportunity to enjoy it after its outstanding performance. Disney+ Hotstar reportedly purchased the digital streaming rights for the film, while the OTT and satellite rights were sold for ₹12 crore. On November 1, it is anticipated to make its OTT platform debut.

Kishkindha Kaandam Synopsis

After being married, Aparna moves in with her husband Ajay’s family, who live close to a forest reserve. While his father, Appu Pilla, who is obsessed with a missing pistol and suffering from memory loss, keeps sinister secrets that start to come to light and exacerbate family tensions, Ajay, a forest officer, deals with the unexplained abduction of his son.

“Kishkindha Kaandam” stars Aparna Balamurali as Aparna, Vijayaraghavan as Appu Pillai, and Asif Ali as Ajay Chandran K.V. While Major Ravi, Nizhalgal Ravi, Nishan, Kottayam Ramesh, Arjun Radhakrishnan Ambat, and Shravan K. Dev all give noteworthy performances, Ashokan, Jagadish, Aarav, Vyshnavi Raj, and Shebin Benson play supporting roles.

The film was directed by Dinjith Ayyathan and produced by Joby George Thadathil under Goodwill Entertainments. Bahul Ramesh, who was also the cinematographer, wrote the script, scenario, and dialogue. Mujeeb Majeed wrote the music, and Sooraj E.S. oversaw the editing. The project was designed by Kaka Stories, with Balu Thankachan managing trailer mixing at 20db Black in Chennai and Vishnu Sujathan supervising sound mixing. Bobby Sathyaseelan served as the chief associate director, and Renju Raj Mathew handled the audiography. Sajeesh Thamarassery handled the art direction, Sameera Saneesh was in charge of the costumes, and Rasheed Ahammed was in charge of the makeup.
