Revolver 2024 Korean movie: Cast & plot
The Korean film Revolver 2024 stars Im Ji-Yeon as Jung Yoon-Sun, Ji Chang-Wook as Andy, and Jeon Do-Yeon as Ha Soo-Young. The actor from Welcome to Samdal-ri is playing a negative character for the first time.
Soo-Young, a former police officer, is imprisoned in the film for a crime she did not commit. Because Andy promised her money, she ends up in jail. The former police officer soon finds that nobody, not even the latter, is supporting her. Yoon-Sun shows up to pick her up when she gets out of jail. When Soo-Young notices an enigmatic woman waiting for her, she gets bewildered. Then she makes the decision to get revenge on Andy.
In the film, viewers can anticipate a fiery Chang-Wook. In a press conference, he discussed his role and explained, “Seventy percent of Andy’s lines involve cursing. I thought it was a good way to show who he is, so I really played up the swearing. I felt the vulgar language would capture his personality very well, especially his insecurity.”
The movie also features Kim Mi-Sook, Jeong Jae-Young, Kim Jun-Han, Jeong Man-Sik, and Kim Jong-Soo in addition to the previously stated ensemble. In addition, Lee Jung-Jae will make a cameo appearance.
