Kottukkaali on OTT: Anna Ben and Soori’s Dramatic Release Date and Platform

The newly released Tamil film Kottukkaali, which stars Soori and Anna Ben in the key roles, is scheduled to launch on Netflix. The movie may be streamed on Prime Video starting on September 27.

The highly regarded Tamil movie Kottukkaali caused a stir when it debuted at foreign film festivals. The film Kottukkaali, directed by PS Vinothraj, who previously helmed Koozhangal (Pebbles), features Anna Ben and Soori in the key characters. The Adamant Girl is the movie’s international title.

On August 23, the movie was launched in theatres. Soon after, it will be available on streaming services. The streaming service Prime Video stated that it will be accessible starting on September 27.

The protagonist of the Madurai-set movie Kottukkaali is a girl who refuses to speak up or interact with her cruel family. The family feels that since she fell in love with a boy from a different caste, she has sinned. As a result, the family believes she is possessed and brings her to see the shaman at a temple. The movie is a drama about a road trip that centres on the adventures of the protagonists.

When Kottukkaali was first released, it garnered favourable reviews. It’s Anna Ben’s first time speaking Tamil. Sivakarthikeyan, operating under the moniker Sivakarthikeyan Productions, is the film’s backer. The movie is available for streaming on Simply South for viewers outside of India.

Following Viduthalai and Garudan, Soori has one of her strongest performances as a lead actress in this movie. Upon the film’s release, Anna Ben and Soori’s performances were highly valued.
