The third shooting schedule for Prithviraj’s third film, L2 Empuraan, which features Mohanlal in the lead role, is scheduled to resume. With a recent social media post, director Nirmal Sahadev revealed a significant update regarding L2E’s future Chennai schedule.

When will L2 Empuraan Chennai begin operations the following week?

The creative director of the project and former director of Ranam, Nirmal Sahadev, has joined the L2 Empuraan team. He recently shared a significant update on his official social media accounts. “Walking into the next schedule like a G! @therealprithvi,” the caption for the location still that the director and actor Prithviraj Sukumaran shared went up. It has been verified by Nirmal Sahadev’s post that Prithviraj has already begun making plans for his third directing project’s upcoming schedule.

According to , the director and his crew plan to begin shooting the Mohanlal movie in Chennai the following week. The latest updates indicate that director Prithviraj Sukumaran and his team intend to finish L2 Empuraan by the end of April 2024, despite the fact that not much information regarding the next schedule has been disclosed. If so, the much awaited project’s Kerala schedule will start in May 2024 following a brief hiatus.

L2 Empuraan: Future Timetables

In the meantime, Prithviraj Sukumaran revealed in a recent interview with a prominent online publication that the team is organizing a lengthy Kerala schedule for the Mohanlal film. Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, and Vandiperiyar are the main shooting locations for the Kerala portions of L2 Empuraan. The actors and crew will later resume their remaining international filming schedules.

The Lucifer sequel is reportedly scheduled to shoot in the United Arab Emirates and other foreign locations for a limited time. Yet it won’t begin filming until director Prithviraj Sukumaran and his group have completed their ambitious project’s schedules in Kerala and Chennai. It has also been suggested, though unverified, that the film’s producers intend to release it on March 28, 2025, which is Lucifer’s sixth anniversary of release. Yet, there hasn’t been an official confirmation of these reports yet.
