Madgaon Express, directed by Kunal Kemmu and released last Friday, has continued to do well at the box office as of Thursday, March 28.
March 22 saw the theatrical debut of Madgaon Express, which starred Pratik Gandhi, Divyendu Sharma, Avinash Tiwary, Nora Fatehi, and Upendra Limaye in key parts. On Day 6, the daily collection for the Bollywood film dropped by 13.79%.
According to movie industry tracker Sacnilk, the movie made 13.5 crore net during its seven days in theaters. On the seventh day, which was the second consecutive day, the movie brought in 1.2 crore net, according to preliminary estimates.
In light of Kunal Kemmu’s comedy-drama’s worldwide box office performance, the film has made 14.7 crore in domestic box office receipts and 1.3 crore abroad. As a result, the movie has earned 16 crore at the global box office.
Madgaon Express recorded an overall occupancy rate of 12.64% in the Hindi belt on Thursday, March 28. Chennai City recorded the highest occupancy rate, at 57.67%. Pune was the next location to record at 20.75% occupancy. Bengaluru occupied 18.50% of the space, placing it third, according to the Sacnilk.com report.
Taran Adarsh, a film trade analyst, wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that “#MadgaonExpress Tue 1.46 cr, Wed 1.21 cr, Sat 2.72 cr, Sun 2.81 cr, Mon [#Holi] 2.72 cr, Fri 1.63 cr. In total, 12.55 cr. #Boxoffice #Indian business”.
The film’s opening day net receipts were 1.5 crore. Day 2 saw a sharp increase in revenue, totaling 2.75 crore net. With 2.85 crore net collected on Sunday, Day 3, the collection increased even more, bringing its first weekend total to 5.55 crore net. Afterwards, on Monday, Holi, the movie made 2.62 crore.
