Manjummel Boys’ producers have at last decided on a release date for their Telugu-dubbed movie. In association with Primeshow Entertainment and Sukumar Writings, Mythri Movie Makers will distribute the survival drama throughout the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The movie is scheduled for release on April 6.
The announcement was made by Mythri Movie Makers on their X page, where they wrote, “Manjummel Boys, the highest grossing Malayalam film, is now coming to entertain the Telugu audience.”
April 6th is the global premiere date. Manjummel Boys made box office history earlier this month when it became the first Malayalam movie to gross over Rs 200 crore. With over 50 crores in earnings, the movie also did incredibly well in Tamil Nadu.
Soubin Shahir, Babu Shahir, and Shawn Antony produced Manjummel Boys, which is written and directed by Chidambaram. Members of the ensemble cast of the movie included Chandu Salimkumar, Vishnu Raghu, Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Ganapathy, Jean Paul Lal, Balu Varghese, Deepak Parambol, Arun Kurian, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, and Khalid Rahman.
Noteworthy is the release of the Telugu-dubbed version of Premalu, another Malayalam movie, earlier this month. Up to this point, the romantic comedy starring Mamita Baiju and Naslen K Gafoor in Telugu has made over 10 crores net.
