Blockbuster movie re-releases are becoming more common. The popular movie Master, starring Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, is currently preparing for a rerelease. After three years, the Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed film will be released again. The re-release is scheduled to commemorate 32 years after Vijay’s debut in motion pictures. The Prasanna Theatre in Bangalore will screen Master. The first performance is set for December 1 at 4 PM.
The popular film Master, which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, features Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi. The action-packed 2021 movie centres on a confrontation between a vicious thug and a reformist professor.
Ghilli, another Thalapathy film starring Vijay, was recently re-released and generated a lot of excitement. Ghilli was notable for its enormous acceptance in spite of the numerous re-releases of well-known films. When the film was re-released, it made nearly Rs 15 crore.
Dharani’s movie Ghilli had an initial release budget of Rs 8 crore. Vijay’s first movie to reach the Rs 50 crore milestone was this one. Prakash Raj played the antagonist in the film, which marked a sea change in Vijay’s career. The success of Vidyasagar was aided by both the film’s powerful action sequences and its soundtrack. Vijay’s fame reached new heights during the more than 200 days that Ghilli was in theatres.
The Thalapathy Vijay is now working on his next movie, which is speculatively called Thalapathy 69. Under the banner of KVN Productions, Venkat K Narayana is producing the film, which was directed by H Vinoth. In October 2025, during Diwali, it will be made available.
It is anticipated that Vijay’s last movie before going into politics will be Thalapathy 69. A number of Malayalam actors, notably Mamita Baiju, play important parts in the film.
