Multiple delays have been experienced by Vishwak Sen’s much anticipated rural gangster drama, “Gangs of Godavari.” December of last year was the original release date; however, May 17 was ultimately decided upon. Currently, it has been rescheduled once more, and the producers have declared that the high-action movie will debut on May 31st, the same day that Vishwak’s debut film, “Falaknuma Das,” opens.
The last time we saw Vishwak Sen was in the unusual thriller “Gaami,” where he played Aghora. There is a lot of excitement surrounding Gangs of Godavari because Vishwak, a genuine country boy, is wearing lungis for the first time in his career and has a thick moustache. After the hit song “Suttamla Soosi,” there was an item song and a bloodied glimpse. These all piqued interest in the movie.
“Gangs of Godavari,” which is helmed by Krishna Chaitanya, stars Neha Shetty as the lead actress and Anjali in a pivotal role. The 1960s are where Vishwak Sen’s character is supposed to be set. In the Godavari region, where embracing violence is necessary for survival, he is likely to take on a dark and intense persona. It is anticipated that the film will present a genuine and captivating narrative experience.
Because both Telugu states were experiencing political and IPL fever, the film’s producers reasoned that delaying its release would draw in more viewers. The producers decided that it would be best for the movie to release on May 31 because the Indian Premier League will end on May 26 and the election fever will also subside following polling on May 13. The project is being funded by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Sowjanya, with Yuvan Shankar Raja writing the music.
